Saint Cuthbert's Day
Time: 15th of Flocktime
The 15th of Flocktime is St. Cuthbert’s Day, and while is not the grand celebration that one would expect from such a holy day in the eyes of a deity’s followers, for anyone familiar with the church of St. Cuthbert would still know they put an importance on it. Their duties are not shirked, nor are they more lax than they would usually be, but certain high-ranking worshippers flock to town squares and centres and preach the great stories of St. Cuthbert to all who would listen. While usually this is mostly children, sent along by their parents to teach them to not be troublesome, a tale told by the right person could still attract a very large crowd, even if St. Cuthbert’s tales are short and to the point.
Some of his more active followers take this opportunity to undertake large-scale rooting out of evil sects and cultists before The Dark Night falls on the 18th. Although this being a somewhat predictable occurrence, there is varying success of such missions. More often than not, this frequently leads to mistakes and misunderstandings, especially when strangers are involved and the worshippers are the rather over-zealous types.
