Time: 28th of Planting
The Last Planting is a celebration of both the end of the month of Planting, and the season of planting new crops.
Although very rarely do the two events actually coincide, with many farmers and workers continuing to plant seeds for months after, this is still celebrated at the end of the month of Planting, and generally marks the end of the most severe workload for such people.
It is a public holiday for all involved, but because farm workers rarely get the opportunity to take a day off, other workers will take over for them so that they are allowed to have a break from their workload. Under their supervision of course, nobody would want an entire batch of crops to go to waste at the hands of someone unsupervised.
